The Gilford Board of Selectmen made the following appointments at a public meeting held on March 24:
- Lee Duncan – Conservation Commission Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Doug Hill – Conservation Commission Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Diane Hanley – Conservation Commission Alternate – term to expire 4/1/2011
- Thom Francoeur – Recreation Commission Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Miriam York – Recreation Commission Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Polly Sanfacon – Planning Board Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Richard Valliancourt – Planning Board Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
- Dale “Chan” Eddy – Planning Board Alternate – term to expire 4/1/2011
- Mark Corry – Board of Adjustment Member – term to expire 4/1/2013
In addition, the Selectmen voted to make the following liaison assignments:
- Planning Board Representative – Kevin Hayes with Gus Benavides as Alternate
- Budget Committee Representative – Gus Benavides with John O’Brien as Alternate

- Historic District/Heritage Commission Representative – John O’Brien with Gus Benavides as Alternate
- AFSCME Negotiations – Gus Benavides with Scott Dunn, Town Administrator
- TEAMSTERS Negotiations – Kevin Hayes with Scott Dunn, Town Administrator
- Facility Planning Committee Representative – John O’Brien with Kevin Hayes as Alternate
