Budget Committee Minutes 11/9/2004
Members Present: Dick Hickok, Sue Greene, Connie Grant, Bob Brent, John O’Brien, Don Sibson
Members Absent: Phyllis Corrigan, Bill Phillips, Diana Goodhue, Sean Murphy, Derek Tomlinson, Dennis Doten
There were 25-30 Town employees present. Although there was not a majority of the Committee present, the Chairman decided to hear any comments that the employees present would like to make. It was made clear that no action would be taken by the Committee during this meeting.
Several employees spoke about their concerns after reading the comments reported from the last budget committee meeting regarding wage and benefit issues. There was a lot of discussion about what was said and why (at the last meeting). The Chairman encouraged employees to attend any and all budget committee meetings and agreed that a specific meeting could be set up for employees to talk with the BC.
The next meeting is 11/16 at 6:30.
