The purpose of Public Works is to maintain the infrastructure of the Town in a safe and economical manner; and to ensure a quality of life that is acceptable for all residents of Gilford. We balance environmental issues with good construction practices. One of our essential management issues is maintaining a quality drainage system throughout our 90 plus miles of road.
In addition, Public Works administers all the divisions listed above. Public Works employs 20 full time employees and subsidizes the workforce with four seasonal employees. Public Works is a full time organization.
