Items need to be rinsed thoroughly of food or grease, paper labels removed, retainer rings removed and aerosol cans must be empty.

ALUMINUM & TIN CONTAINER:                       COMPOSTABLE YARD WASTE:
•   Aluminum cans       •   Tin/Steel cans              •   Leaves           •   Grass clippings  
•   Aluminum foil               •   Aerosol cans            

EARTHEN DEBRIS/ROCKS:                           GLASS:
•  This material NOT ALLOWED                    •   All bottle types & color

PAPER CONTAINER:                                        METALS:
•   Newspapers                  •   Magazines                   •   Large or small items without Freon
•   Computer paper      •   Cardboard – all types

WOOD CHIPS:
•  Chips must be kept separate from compostable items

PLASTICS  (All items need to be rinsed thoroughly of food or grease):
•   Type #1 PETE Bottles*:    Examples:  Plastic soft drink, water and mouthwash bottles
•   Type #2 HDPE Bottles*:   Examples:  Milk, water, juice, shampoo, dish and laundry detergent bottles  
                                   
*Include ONLY #1 and #2 plastic bottles with a “neck” smaller than the “base”.
Plastic tubs are not acceptable.
Adding any other types of plastics will contaminate the load and create more waste.
Also, please do not include any plastic bottle that contained pesticide, pool chemicals, motor oil or antifreeze.

RECHARGABLE BATTERIES:  
•   Cellular and Cordless phones                        
•   Rechargeable batteries as found in cordless power tools, motors     laptop computers, camcorders, digital cameras, and remote       control toys. (Battery chemistries: Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel      
   Metal Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead* (Pb).

GOODIE'S EXCHANGE:                              
•  This building can accept small reusable items, CLEAN USABLE CLOTHES.  If you can carry it, we probably want it.         PLEASE ONLY DROP OFF THINGS SOMEONE ELSE MIGHT WANT!!

EITHER A TAXPAYER'S STICKER SHOWING RESIDENCY OR A VALID PERMIT SHOWING WORK PERFORMED FOR A TAXPAYER OF THE TOWN IS REQUIRED TO USE THIS FACILITY.
