The Town of Gilford, NH (population 8200) seeks a Finance Director to manage all aspects of municipal finance including, budget preparation, cash management, fund accounting system, utility billing, debt management, capital improvements program, audit management, purchasing, human resources, welfare administration, and assessing.~ The Finance Director supervises four employees and manages all organizational affairs in the absence of the Town Administrator.~ Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and 5 years of progressive municipal or governmental accounting experience at a supervisory level.~ Must be energetic, able to work under pressure and a team player.~ Candidates must be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with employees, elected officials, and the
