I began my Law Enforcement career in 2004, with the Belmont Police Dept. In August 2005, I was honored to accept my current position with the Gilford P.D. as a School Recourse Officer. I also serve as a D.A.R.E instructor for students in the Gilford School District to educate them about the dangers of drug and alcohol use. Working in classrooms with students has proven to be a highlight of my career. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to help students choose a positive path, during a crucial time in their journey through life. Getting into Law Enforcement has been one of my most rewarding accomplishments. It has allowed me to prove to myself that if you work hard enough, you can achieve your dreams. The ongoing support of my family, as well as my extended family within the Police Dept. has allowed me to serve my community to the best of my ability each and every day. Running is my stress reliever, as well as great way to stay in shape. It has allowed me to complete several half marathons and one full marathon. Aside from running, spending time with family and friends, camping and vacationing is where you might find me when I’m off duty. "The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start." -John Bingham

I grew up in West Roxbury, Mass. and moved to the Lakes Region in 1996. I come from a law enforcement family. I have a beautiful daughter and son who I love spending time with. My career in law enforcement began as a Military Policeman in the Army National Guard. In 1986, I joined the Boston Police Department as a dispatcher. In 1995, I became a supervisor for New Hampshire's enhanced 911 system. I joined the Gilford Police Department in 1998. I have an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from NHTI and a Bachelors Degree in Human Services from Springfield College. Prior to moving to New Hampshire, I studied culinary arts at the prestigious Bunker Hill Community College. I also enjoy barbeque and making fabulous pizza, boating, making people laugh, music, sports and useless trivia. I am a huge fan of the Bruins, Pats and Red Sox. Personal Message "The light at the end of the tunnel might be an oncoming train." - Lou Holtz
