The Town of Gilford in cooperation with the Department of Public Works is sponsoring its 29th ANNUAL ISLAND CLEAN-UP DAY, for the ISLAND RESIDENTS OF GILFORD ONLY.
Public Works employees will be at the Glendale Docks and will be accepting the following items:
Appliances, bagged leaves, furniture, brush, clean wood (cut to 3-foot lengths) and batteries.
ITEMS NOT BEING ACCEPTED:
CONTRACTOR'S DEBRIS, TIRES, ELECTRONICS OR LIQUID WASTE
Current Gilford Taxpayer Identification needed to take advantage of this day.

HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION
July 30, 2016
8:30 AM - 12 NOON @ the Public Works Facility
Gilford will be concurrently running its Hazardous Waste Collection at the Public Works facility on Route 11A from 8:30 AM to 12 Noon and all approved liquid may be brought there.
NO LIQUID WASTE WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOCKS.
All questions may be directed to the Department of Public Works at 527-4778
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
