NOTICE OF JOB VACANCY
Welfare Director
The Town of Gilford is accepting applications to fill the appointed part-time Welfare Director position, which on average requires approximately 8 – 10 hours per week. The Director is responsible to work in the administration and implementation of the Town’s general assistance and welfare program in accordance with RSA 165 and Town policy. Familiarity with NH laws and regulations regarding General Assistance, NH RSA 165, is required. The Town is seeking a candidate who has a proven record of outstanding job performance and the ability to work independently while also being a team player. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Social Services or related experience.
The current compensation is a monthly stipend of $750, along with a monthly cellular phone stipend of $40. The works hours vary upon the need and requests by clients.
